About Me

Sue Lepp “The Irreverent Reverend”

I am the newly appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of the Hambleden Valley Group of Churches as of January 2021. Time for a new start at the beginning of a new year.
I served my curacy in the Parish of Langley Marish and trained at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.
Former Nurse in both Canada and the UK. Specialised in Palliative Care, Gynaecology-Oncology and a bit of Orthopaedics (just to keep me travelling). Worked as a MacMillan Nurse Specialist in a few specialities in London.

I am a proudly Canadian citizen who has lived in the UK since 2007. Over the last 10 years I completed a Master’s degree in Palliative & End of Life Care and worked as a Macmillan Nurse in London at Northwick Park and Barts & The Royal London Hospitals. I then changed careers completely! Turned out I wasn’t meant to be a life-long church volunteer but rather a leader, pastor and preacher and the Church of England is the place I need to do this. I studied at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford for 2 glorious years. Best time I have had as an adult.

I have lots of interests both inside and outside the church some of which I will explore on this site… let’s see where we go!
